The ViziCAL app¶
These pages explain everything you can do in the ViziCAL app on a Windows computer, and in ViziCAL Apply, the small program that keeps your calibrations applied.
If you haven't installed and activated ViziCAL yet, start with Getting started.
Everyday tasks¶
- The main window: what each part of the window does.
- Calibrate a display: measure a display and correct it to your display standard.
- Check a calibration: measure a display to confirm it still meets the standard, without changing it.
- Run visual checks: routine checks with test patterns, such as the AAPM TG18 checks.
- Measure ambient light, illuminance and uniformity: the room and screen measurements that go on your reports.
- Save reports and upload results: PDF reports, and sending results to your web account.
- The History tab: past calibrations, checks and reports.
More tools¶
- Display information: make, model, settings and how the display's hardware compares with your standard.
- Ask ViziCAL AI: ask questions about calibrating your displays.
- Settings: every section of the Settings tab.
- ViziCAL Apply: the program in the notification area that applies your calibrations and reminds you when checks are due.
- ViziProfiler: a separate program that tests your displays before calibration and recommends the best display settings.
