Settings: Owner Info¶
Use this page to change how the computer is named and described. This information appears on your calibration reports and in your web account.
Open Settings → Owner Info.
Computer Identifying Information¶
- Computer Device Name: the computer's Windows device name, as shown in Windows under Settings → System → About. You can't change it here.
- Computer Common Name: a name that tells this workstation apart from others, for example Reading Room 2 – PACS 1. It appears on reports and in your web account as the workstation name.
- Computer Location Description: where the computer is. Choose a location from your organisation's list, or type a new one. A new location is added to the list for next time.
Update the location list¶
The location list comes from your web account (Technical → Locations). ViziCAL downloads it each time it starts and keeps a copy, so it still works offline.
To get the latest list now, click Refresh from website. A line below the button says when the list was last updated and how many locations it has.
If the computer has no licence, only the locations typed on this computer are offered.
Owner Information¶
- Licensed Organisation: the organisation this computer's licence belongs to in your web account. You can't change it here. It can take a minute to appear after you activate a licence.
- Owner Name and Owner Address: the name and address to show on reports.
Changes are saved as you type. There's no Save button.
